The Eagle’s Nest Summer Camp 2017
Hello Summer Day Camp families!

This is a reminder that May 5 was the requested deadline for Summer Day Camp (SDC) registrations.  If you plan to come attend Summer Day Camp AT ALL this summer, even if you are not sure which days or weeks, please go ahead and register your camper(s) ASAP.  We will order just as many t-shirts as we can at once.  This will cut down on re-orders and help us to plan effectively for staffing this summer.  Registering does not commit you to attend.  However, if you are certain to attend at least one day, please take the time to register.  Once you are registered, you are free to attend SDC at any time!  We appreciate your help with this.

We are so excited for another super fun summer.  Our Week 1 Newsletter is filling in quickly with field trips and will be published on May 26th.  Our Lil’ Eagles(Grades 3-5) and Eagles(Grades 6+) will be traveling to Carowinds on Thursdays while our Eaglets (Grades K-2) will be enjoying a fun-filled time at the Kids Rock Fun Factory!  So be sure to have your Carowinds passes ready!

If you have a CIT (Counselor-In-Training – Grades 9th & up) coming this summer, please note the CIT training class scheduled for Saturday, May 20th from noon til ?.  This important session will give your CIT the opportunity to learn about the responsibilities they will have this summer (in addition to the fun!) and will give me the opportunity to communicate our camp expectations for their time with us.  Also, CIT shirts should be ready in time to be passed out, so register your CIT today!

Any questions, please call Cindy Chapel at (704)736-9888.
