Thanks to the hard work of one of our Charter School moms, you now have insight into the preferences and needs of your teachers, administration and staff. If you would like an information sheet that includes your teacher’s favorite color, food and restaurant choices – and gift ideas – please reach out to your classroom parent. The classroom parent will share that specific teacher’s sheet with you.

Middle School Moments
In keeping with the spirit of the season, the middle school will be participating in a service project during the last week of school before the holiday break. The project we will be undertaking this year is to make hand-tied t-shirt quilts to donate to Christian Ministries to help keep those who are in need warm this season. That being said, we will need old t-shirts, and fabric shears to make this work. Homeroom teachers are collecting any old, clean t-shirts that you may have. If you have shears that you are willing to loan to the cause, or questions, please contact firstname.lastname@example.org. 7 and 8th grade will be doing this project on 12/19, and 6th grade will be doing this project on 12/20.
Ugly Sweater Days!
On the following days students may wear a festive sweater and jeans.

MS will be going to see the movie “Wonder” before the holiday break. 6th grade will be going on 12/19 and 7/8th grade will be going on 12/20. This is a great opportunity to reinforce our community expectations. We will travel to the Birkdale Theatre to watch the movie, eat lunch, and return home. Sign up for the field trip via MyPaymentsPlus. Cost is $10 for the ticket. Students will have to bring their own money for lunch; please do not order lunch on Apple a Day. Students should wear their red field trip shirts on this trip.
