Middle School Moments
A Note from Mr. Bealer
I wanted to let each of you know that we have been having a fantastic year and I love working with all of your students. As a way of reminding students about some school board policies we have, last Wednesday I met with all 6th, 7th, and 8th-grade students to review some of the main points from the policies. There are two main policies that I would like to highlight. The first is regarding jackets:
“Jackets may be worn as long as they meet LCS color restrictions and do not have logos. Hoods are not allowed to be worn inside the building.”
The color restriction mentioned is that jackets can be any color, but it needs to be solid. That means that two-toned jackets and hoodies are not allowed. The second is regarding cell phones:
If students wish to bring their devices, they need to be turned off and kept in their lockers. Locks to lockers are available from homeroom teachers. Links to these and other school board policies can be found here. Please let me know if you have any questions or concerns.
7th Grade Camp Weaver Trip
Seats are still open for the camp overnight trip to Camp Weaver and UNC-Chapel Hill. The trip will be April 9-10 and will include a trip to UNC-Chapel Hill. More information can be found in the link below.
