Allyson Modlin

Hello! My name is Allyson Modlin and this will be my second year as the 5th grade Language Arts and Social Studies teacher here at Lincoln Charter School-Lincolnton. I am a 2009 graduate of The University of North Carolina at Charlotte, where I majored in Elementary Education and International Studies. Currently, I am working on a Master of Arts in Elementary Education at Appalachian State University and will graduate in 2013. My goal this school year is to develop a life-long learner in each of my students, and to teach them to apply their learned knowledge to their daily lives. I absolutely love being a teacher, and I am glad that every day I get to fulfill my childhood dreams of educating and helping others. I also enjoy reading, scrapbooking, and scuba diving. I live here in Lincolnton with my husband Patrick, our beautiful son Grayden, who just turned two, and our two pound mutts, Rupert and Missy.
