Dianne Hawkins

Hi.  I am very excited to be back at Lincoln Charter School teaching seventh grade Science.

This is my second career.  I originally majored in Accounting at NCSU and worked over fifteen years in financial accounting.  I started out as a science major and I really enjoy the seventh grade curriculum.

After my son was born, I decided to pursue a career in teaching.  I recently finished my schooling at Western Carolina University.  I am licensed to teach math and science for grades 6th through 9th.

 I have worked as a substitute at Lincoln Charter School for the past several years. Also, I did my student teaching at Lincoln Charter School with Ms. Berkley. I taught 7th grade science.

 I have a wonderful husband, an active fourth grader (Jacob) who attends the charter school, a cat and fish.  I love to read(Kindle) , do puzzles, play games, and I am currently taking Tae Kwon Do.

I am very excited to be working with the Lincoln Charter  staff, your students, and the wonderful parents at Lincoln Charter School.  GO EAGLES!
