- B.S. Elementary Education (K-9) with a minor in mathematics and a major in science.
- Graduated from Oakland University - located in Rochester, Michigan in 1997.
- Achieved National Board Certification in 2001
- 14 years of teaching experience; seven years at Lincoln Charter
- 4 time World Bench Press Champion; Member of the 2008 World Powerlifting Team; 15 National Championship titles; traveled the world
