LoriAnn Fortkort

Welcome Back to Science!

My name is Lori Ann Fortkort and this will be my fifth year teaching at Lincoln Charter High School.  I am also a swim coach for both the high school and middle school swim teams. 

I am very proud to say that I have completed all of the requirements for my teacher’s license which is now proudly displayed in my classroom.  Many life experiences led me to pursue this wonderful career as an educator…living overseas for many years (my dad is retired Air Force), working in the Federal Government for 10 years, and raising four children (two of my sons have autism).

My undergraduate degree is a Bachelor of Science in Chemistry from St. Bonaventure University in Olean, NY and my graduate degree is a Masters of Science in Analytical Chemistry from the University of Washington in Seattle, WA.

In my “spare” time, I enjoy swimming, reading, and sleeping during movies.
