Mary Pohlman

        Welcome to Second Grade! My name is Mary Pohlman and I'm your student's second grade teacher for the 2010-2011 school year.  Emily Spake is our assistant, and we are both looking forward to a wonderful year filled with lots of fun and learning!

This is my 4th year at Lincoln Charter School, but before coming to LCS, I taught various grade levels for 14 years.  I also spent 3 years as principal/administrator of a Christian school in Los Angeles, California. I have been married to my husband, Kip, for 27 years, and we have one daughter, Sarah who is 15 years old. I also have one dog named Angel.

          Emily Spake- This is my second year with Lincoln Charter and my first year as an assistant here at the elementary school. I am a graduate of Appalachian State University with two degrees in Sports Medicine and K-12 Health Education. I have been married for 3 months to Coach Logan Spake, who teaches/coaches at LCS High School. We enjoy playing tennis, biking, running and being with our family and friends as much as possible.
