Melissa Riley

Born and raised in western North Carolina, this is my third year teaching at Lincoln Charter School.  I spent two years studying at Campbell University in the small town of Buies Creek, North Carolina before finally graduating from Appalachian State University in Boone, North Carolina with a Bachelor's degree in Elementary Education.  Recently, I completed working on my Master's in Reading Education through ASU as well.  Outside of school, I love spending time with my husband of nine years and two daughters who both attend LCS.  I also enjoy participating in various functions at my church, taking nature walks, painting with acrylics, and reading a captivating book.
