My name is Muriel Castilloux and this is my fourth year teaching at LCS. Before teaching at Lincoln Charter, I taught 4th grade in Thomasville, NC. I am originally from Sudbury Ontario, Canada. I attended Cambrian College in which I studied Social Work, I received my Bachelor's degree in Sociology from Laurentian University and I obtained my teacher certification training from D'Youville College in Buffalo, NY. I have worked extensively with children in various settings such as a family resource center, preschools, daycares, summer camp and as staff scientist at one of Canada's largest science centers. Science is my favorite subject to teach because it lends itself to many hands on projects and experiments.
