National Junior Beta Club Induction
This years National Junior Beta Club induction service took place on October 5th. The service was held at Pisgah Church in Lincolnton. This year we had 15 new inductees.
The National Junior Beta Club is a 7th and 8th grade club that focuses on leading, by serving others. Every year the club will visit a college, to prepare for that time in the students lives. They also do at least two service projects per year. Last year (2009-2010) the club did Treats for Troops, and Hearts for Haiti. The club selects members based on academic achievement and leadership ability. It is a great honor to be inducted into the Jr. Beta Club, and an honor that will show up on college records.
