Robin Gauvreau

Hi!  My name is Robin Gauvreau and I am delighted to be teaching at Lincoln Charter this year.  I have a B.S. in Elementary Education from Longwood University with an endorsement in Math. I taught 7th & 8th grade Math for 10 years in Fairfax, Virginia and 7th grade Math at Lake Norman Charter School for the past 3 years.  I spent the years in between raising a family, volunteering at my children’s schools and filling several long-term substitute teaching positions.

My family consists of my husband, Larry and children, Benjamin 23, Nicholas 20, and Gretchen 17.  We moved here from the DC area in 1994.  We have a precious beagle named Samantha.  She is very spoiled!  I enjoy cooking, traveling, reading, doing puzzles (jigsaw, crossword, Sudoku), sewing, and spending time in the sun.

I am excited to also be teaching social studies this year.  As a child, I lived overseas (England, Taiwan, Cyprus, Lebanon and Greece) and as a result, I have always had an interest in people and cultures as well as history.
