This is my 16th year of teaching and my 9th year at LCS. I have taught Kindergarten, second, and third grade. I graduated from UNC Charlotte in 1996 with a B.A. in Elementary Education. I earned my National Board Certification in 2000 and completed my Master's degree in Reading Education in 2005.
I grew up in Erie, Pa. and came to North Carolina after graduating from high school. My husband and I celebrated our 12th wedding anniversary in July. We have one daughter who is in the 5th grade at LCS Denver.
