Welcome to our Class

Welcome to our website.   We will be updating this site periodcally with our classroom news, photos and events.  Please check back to see what is happening in our 1st grade class. 

We are so excited to be going on our first field trip.  We will be going to the Children's Theatre to see Suessical on Wednesday, September 28.  We will be leaving at 8:30 a.m. and returning by 11:30 a.m.  Please have children wear their Field Trip shirts and khaki bottoms.  Please provide a disposable snack for the bus ride to the theatre.  Tickets for the play were pre-ordered, so we do not have any extra tickets for chaparones; sorry.  Remember that you can pay on-line or by check up until September 25. 

September 11, 2011 will be our day of Service and Rememberance.  We have partnered with Sally's Y for a special program on Sunday, September 11 at Sally's Y at 6:00 p.m.  In first grade, we will discuss "Everyday Heroes" and how our students can become everyday heroes. 

Please check your Edline access code.  After some things were "cleaned up" within the program, some access codes are no longer working.  Please let us know if your code is not working.   Also, please be patient with us; we are in the process of learning what we have to do for Edline.  It may take some time before we have it down pat. 

 Our children are so hungry.  Please check with your child to see if they would like more for lunch.  Many have come up to our desks asking for more food. 

 October 7 is Track Attack.  This is our only fund raiser for the year.  Please support our school.  If each student in our class participates, we will get a free pizza lunch!!! Awesome!!!
