Red Cross Blood Drive

LCS will be hosting a blood drive on January 8th through the American Red Cross from 10:00 am -2:30 pm.  Our goal is 51 pints of blood! To sign up for a donation time, please visit American Red Cross.  You can locate our blood drive by going to the “Find A Blood Drive” box in the top right corner and putting in our zip code, 28092.  You will then scroll down to locate Lincoln Charter School on January 8th. You can then select your donation type and time. High school students must be at least 16 years old to donate and must meet the Red Cross donation criteria.  Parental permission is required for all 16 and 17 year old students through a consent form students must pick up from the MS/HS Front Office. Thank you in advance for your donation!

Yearbooks

Yearbooks for each level are now on sale through our new company, Herff Jones.  LCS produces three different yearbooks, and direct links to purchase yours are below.

Please note that students in both Lincolnton and Denver share a combined book at each level, so there is no need to differentiate between campuses.

Inclement Weather

All weather related and other school closing announcements will be immediately posted on the LCS website at www.lincolncharter.org.  We will also send a message to each family detailing any significant schedule changes (delays or school cancellations).  Lincoln Charter’s inclement weather process does not correspond with Lincoln County Schools’ (or any other school district’s) inclement weather decision.

Elementary Excitement

From the Elementary Art Room:

Greetings, Parents!  Just a couple of thoughts from the art room:

  1. Don't forget to order your yearbook!  The link is posted above and it is a simple process.  We do not order extra yearbooks!
  2. Artworks are coming home unless they are being held back for the ART SHOW (March 19th).  All students will have at least 1 piece in the art show, if not more.
  3. Follow us on Instagram to get a sneak peak inside the art room & more art resources: lincolncharter_art
  4. Art for Kids Hub on YouTube is a great Kindergarten and up resource for students.  They have hundreds of step by step drawing videos that the kids LOVE.
