On January 17, Lincoln Charter celebrated a groundbreaking at the Lincolnton Campus for the upcoming Elementary Building and MS/HS Expansion! These projects will provide updated and much needed facilities for the Lincolnton campus as Lincoln Charter continues to grow. As part of this project, a classroom wing will be added to the existing MS/HS, a stand-alone elementary building will be constructed and additional campus improvements will be made. The USDA funding for these projects benefits all of Lincoln Charter School (Denver and Lincolnton campuses), by consolidating all LCS loans. This project will be built by Randolph & Son Builders, the architect is Boomerang Designs, RJ Leeper is providing building support and funding comes from the USDA - in conjunction with People's Bank and South State Bank. Rob Brown, LCS Board President, Dave Machado, Director of the NC Office of Charter Schools, Tom Brooks, PTO President, Jessica Kelly, HS Administrator, Johnny Rhodes, Randolph Builders, NC Rep. Jason Saine and Jonathan Bryant, Chief Administrator all spoke at the groundbreaking ceremony.
