Habitat For Humanity
Local families need your help! We are currently building two homes in Lincolnton and a home in Denver. The homes in Lincolnton were started last May during National Women Build Week. These homes are being built for three single mothers in Lincoln County. One of these future homeowners has three children and recently moved to night shift so that she could work on building her home during the day. Do you know where your family will be spending the holidays? Where these families spend the holidays will greatly depend on how many volunteers we have serving with us this month and next.

Our mission is impossible without volunteers. On our last Saturday build day Dave, Martin, and I were on the construction site with two Homeowners in Progress – and no volunteers showed up. Who is willing to lend a hand on the build site so that these families can be in their homes by the holidays? We host build days Tuesdays – Saturdays from 8am – 1pm. If your team, church group, or friends & family are able to lend a hand, I will feed you a good lunch and make sure that you have a fun time on the job site – learning something new and helping to build strength and stability in the lives of neighbors.  Please contact Kelly if you are able to help!
