Lincoln Charter School is Awarded Grant from        Timken Foundation of Canton

Denver, NC – Trustees of Timken Foundation of Canton, along with the help of local representatives Wayne Lowe and Todd Lautzenheiser, recently approved Lincoln Charter School for a matching grant in the amount of $150,000.   This grant will raise vital funds to purchase equipment and furnishings for their new Science and Technology facilities.  Lincoln Charter School recognizes that engaging students in math, science, and technology is one of the most important factors in creating tomorrow's workforce and is very excited about this unique opportunity given to their students.  The Timken Foundation of Canton will match, dollar for dollar, funds donated to Lincoln Charter School by September 2008 up to the amount of $150,000.  All donor names will be placed on a plaque to be displayed in the school at the end of their campaign.  If you are interested in making a tax-deductible donation or have additional questions about Lincoln Charter School, please call 704-489-4343 or visit their website at www.LincolnCharter.org.
