- Student Life
Every year, Lincoln Charter asks for input from our families in several ways.
First, we ask that you vote in this year’s School Board election, these parent-elected School Board representatives serve our community in many ways. You can access this year’s ballot here – School Board Ballot. Voting closes on 5/17.
We also need your input on our annual parent survey. Our admin team and staff review these results each year. This helps us to evaluate our service to our community. Please take the time to complete this survey – your response will help us grow and improve! You can access this survey here – Parent Survey.

Calling all volunteers! We need Testing Proctors! We are 52 volunteers short!
Lincoln Charter needs testing proctors for the 2018 NC State EOG’s and EOC’s, which take place each morning during the week of Monday, May 15th – Friday, May 17th, 2019. State law requires that we have proctors to administer all end of year testing. We need your help as this is one of the most difficult tasks we have all year. Please sign up for as many mornings as you are able. Check with your employer as many offer incentives to help out your child’s school. We love grandparents, aunts, uncles and our very wonderful retirees. This is one of the last events to get your volunteer hours in for the year. If you have any questions, please feel free to contact Brenda DeYoe. Please click this link to sign up as a proctor.
Need a Break? Parents Night Out, May 11th
Odyssey of the Mind Club will be hosting a Parents Night Out, May 11, 2019, from 5:30 – 9:00 pm in the lower gym. Sign your student up for an evening of fun!
Odyssey of the Mind is a global creative problem-solving competition in which teams of students participate in two types of activities: a creative presentation based on a “long term” problem and a “spontaneous” challenge that may be verbal, hands-on or a combination of these.
We will play traditional games as well as host our own “spontaneous” challenges – Odyssey style. Dinner is included. This event is open to children age Kindergarten and above.
Sign up on MPP, and bring a friend! $20 for the first child, $15 for each additional child. Sign up before May 6 for a $5/child discount ($15 first child; $10 each additional child).
Proceeds from this event will support Lincoln Charter’s Odyssey of the Mind Club and assist the two teams that qualified to participate in the 2019 World Championships at Michigan State University. Plus, we heard you may need a “break”!
Click here for the End of Year Testing Calendar. Please note that this schedule is specific to the Denver Campus. AP exams, EOGs, EOCs, and high school class exams are posted with the time and date of each testing session. As a friendly reminder, EOCs and EOGs are state-mandated exams students in those respected grades are required to take. Please contact your building administrator if you have questions or concerns.
