La Fiesta

  • La Fiesta Header

Lincoln Charter School proudly celebrates Hispanic Heritage Month from September 15th to October 15th, recognizing the rich cultures and traditions within our community. One of the highlights of this celebration is La Fiesta, an annual event that brings students, families, and the broader community together for a vibrant afternoon of music, dancing, food, and cultural exhibits. This event provides an opportunity for our Hispanic community to showcase their heritage through art, music, and interactive presentations. Leading up to La Fiesta, the school hosts Heritage Days each Friday, encouraging everyone to participate in themed activities that honor Hispanic and Latin traditions.

La Fiesta features a variety of exciting activities, including a lively parade, student presentations from Spanish classes, and a thrilling jalapeño eating contest. Sports enthusiasts can join a 3v3 soccer tournament, while food lovers can enjoy a food truck cook-off. Additional entertainment, such as a mechanical bull and cultural showcases, ensures there is something for everyone to enjoy. The event is open to the entire community, and Lincoln Charter welcomes vendors, volunteers, and participants to get involved. La Fiesta not only fosters cultural appreciation but also strengthens the sense of unity and pride within the school and beyond.
