Attendance
If your child is absent from school, please email the following address:
- Denver Campus Attendance - attendance@lincolncharter.org
- Lincolnton Campus Attendance - lincattendance@lincolncharter.org
In your email, please include:
Student’s full name
Student’s grade level
- Date(s) of absence
- Type of excused absence you are requesting
- All required documentation which includes the
- 1. Reason for Absence (ex. Sick Personal illness/injury, Court attendance, Medical appointment)
- 2. Documentation attached to email or turn in to the front office (ex. letter from doctor/court/etc. on letterhead)

OR
1. State that you wish to use a “Local School Board Day.” You have 8 days to use as needed (ex. sick without a doctor visit, educational opportunity, etc). Parent/guardian email serves as documentation. Does NOT require additional documentation.

If your email does not include proper documentation (ie a doctor’s note) or a request to use a Local School Board Day, it will be marked as “Unexcused” (see Policy J-11 Part D).
