BOARD MEMBERS
PRESIDENT - TOM BROOKS
Tom currently serves the LCS community by participating on the School Board and serving on the Facilities Committee (Chair) and Student Conduct Committee (Chair). He has previously served as a school board member (2013-2019) and PTO President for the LCS Lincolnton campus. He and his wife, Amber, have 4 children at the Lincolnton campus and have been a part of the LCS Family since 2012, when their oldest started Kindergarten with LCS. He is currently employed with Wells Fargo as an engineering manager responsible for managing multiple development teams and applications.
Tom states, "I believe that all children should be equipped to succeed in their goals and dreams, and the LCS community has successfully equipped the children for success. We must serve our communities to strengthen them and give back to what we have received."
Tom has been an owner/operator of a technology service business for over 20 years, specializing in supporting other small businesses in and around the Charlotte Metro area. His experience in the Information Technology industry working with multiple Top 100 Corporations (AT&T, IBM, Wachovia, Wells Fargo) is an asset to assist the school with technological and business needs.
VICE PRESIDENT - ALLI MOODY
Alli is committed to caring for people who are in the most vulnerable moments of their lives. She has been a Trauma ICU nurse, flight nurse, and ECMO nurse in our community for 18 years. Currently, she serves as the Chief Nursing Officer for a local hospital and has led a successful response to the global pandemic for her facility. She is dedicated to her profession, family, and her faith. Alli completed her BSN at UNCC in 2004 and earned her Master of Science in nursing in 2013. She demonstrates a pattern of success in managing high-stress, critical, and life-threatening situations. Her tenacious personality and natural leadership skills have served her well in my professional journey. Her family joined Lincoln Charter in 2013, and she has three daughters at the Denver campus. In her first year at LCS, she immediately jumped into service, filling the role of secretary on the PTO board. Her service to the PTO board continued for 4 years, assisting in all the events sponsored by the PTO. Her leadership mantra comes from the late Ruth Bader Ginsberg, “Fight for the things that you care about, but do it in a way that will lead others to join you.” As a parent with a vested interest in the school's success, she will always fight for what will serve the LCS community best.

SECRETARY – TAMMY BUCKSHI
Tammy Buckshi’s goal throughout life has been to support the development of our youth. In her professional life, she holds a Bachelor’s degree in Mathematics, Spanish, and Education and a Master’s in Mathematics Education from Boston University. Tammy has been an educator for twenty-three years, during which she has taught at the elementary, middle, and high school levels, as well as working as a math specialist in the curriculum office of one of the highest performing school districts in the U.S. Throughout the last 23 years, Tammy has also worked as an educational consultant, writing and publishing Pre-AP curriculum and professional learning experiences. Tammy facilitates workshops for teachers and administrators in schools worldwide, supporting fellow educators with delivering high-quality instruction and providing access and equity for all students. Additionally, Tammy has coached school athletics and multiple youth sports, has been an active member of the PTO, and has created and run various clubs. In her personal life, she enjoys playing all sports, playing the piano, painting, hiking, biking, and all things nature, and most importantly, doing it all with her husband and two children!
TREASURER – TYLER MEEKS
Tyler is serving his first term on the Lincoln charter school board. He has one student at the Lincolnton campus who started kindergarten in 2023. He believes that strong schools are the foundation of strong families and LCS is a perfect example. He is excited for the opportunity to support our students, teachers, and families so that every child has the opportunity to succeed. Professionally, he brings years of experience in the industrial construction industry, where he has developed skills in leadership, project management, and collaboration. These experiences have given him a practical perspective on problem-solving, budgeting, and long-term planning that will be utilized serving on the LCS board.
STEVE LOCKEY
Steve believes that parent involvement is incredibly important at Lincoln Charter School. His desire to be involved at LCS is why he serves on the school board. He currently has two students attending LCS and one who graduated in 2019. He has made an effort to volunteer and be involved at our school since his daughter started LCS in 2007. Steve believes it takes a village to raise a child and can’t imagine a better village than LCS. He believes in our school, our teachers, our administrators, and our mission. He currently works as an airline captain at JetBlue Airways, which allows him to have had the honor of serving on our school board for 3 consecutive terms previously, and to continue to serve currently, so he understands firsthand the importance of his position.
JAKE ROBINSON
Jake Robinson is excited to step into his role as a board member for Lincoln Charter School, a place that has been a significant part of his life for many years. After spending 8 years as a student and another 8 years as an employee, Jake feels a deep connection to the school community. His time at Lincoln Charter provided him with valuable insights into the school’s operations and a strong commitment to its mission.
Jake holds a Master of Science in Human Resources and currently serves as the Risk Manager for Catawba County Government. He is passionate about bringing his professional skills and unique perspective to the board, and he is eager to help Lincoln Charter continue to thrive and grow.
Guided by the belief that "a person’s most useful asset is not a head full of knowledge, but a heart full of love, an ear ready to listen, and a hand willing to help others," Jake is truly honored to give back to the school that has given him so much. He looks forward to making a positive impact and supporting the continued success of Lincoln Charter.
CAM LOHRI
Cam Lohri is a dedicated member of the Lincoln Charter School community and currently serves on the LCS School Board and the Facilities Committee. She has been actively involved with the school for many years and previously served as PTO President for the LCS Denver campus. She partnered alongside a committed team of selfless, exemplary parent volunteers to lead one of the most successful PTO boards, together helping raise funds that directly supported school administration, teachers, and students each year.
Cam and her husband, Peter Lohri, have been married for more than 26 years and have lived in the area since 2004. They have three children who have been part of the LCS family community, all starting at the kindergarten grade level. Their eldest daughter graduated from LCS Summa Cum Laude in 2022, attended the University of Georgia (UGA), where she earned her Bachelor of Arts in Business Administration in May 2025. She is continuing her education at UGA and will graduate in May 2026 with a Masters in Marketing Research (MMR). Their second daughter graduated from LCS Summa Cum Laude and an Associate of Arts (AA) from Gaston College in May 2025, she is currently a freshman at Louisiana State University (LSU), pursuing studies in Architecture and Business Administration. Their son is currently a sophomore in high school and is actively involved in school-sponsored LCS clubs and athletics, competing on both the LCS football and baseball teams.
Cam believes that strong schools are built through collaboration and shared commitment. She shares, “A strong partnership among school administrators, teachers, students and parents/guardians is what makes a truly beautiful school. Working towards the greater good and supporting student success is why I continue to serve as a long-term parent volunteer and representative with LCS. While each student’s path may be different, the shared LCS mission statement and the commitment to helping every student reach their goals and highest potential are why I will always advocate for strong education. All things are possible when we work together.”
Cam holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Psychology from the University of Massachusetts, Amherst. She has professional business experience in Human Resources, having worked with Dresdner Kleinwort Wasserstein (DrKW) (now Commerzbank AG), and Wachovia (now Wells Fargo). Most recently, a Realtor®/Broker in the Greater Charlotte Area with a technology-driven residential brokerage and one of the largest real estate firms in the United States. Cam personally loves all sports and all forms of art, believing that fitness, creativity and teamwork help make a well-rounded individual.
ELLEN FICHTELMAN
Ellen is a Lincoln County native, former LCS Eagle, and North Lincoln High Graduate that is looking forward to her first term on the Lincoln Charter School Board. As a Professional in our county, Ellen’s hope is to give back to the community that helped shape her.
Ellen states, “I believe that our children are one the most valuable investments we can make—not only in their future, but in the future of our community.”
Ellen holds a B.A. in English Literature from Davidson College (2012) and a J.D. from Stetson University College of Law (2015). While at Stetson, Ellen served as President of the Stetson Chapter of Florida Association of Women Lawyers and she received the William F. Blews Bro Bono Service Award. She is an active member of the Denver Lake Norman Rotary Club: She is Past-President (2021-22) and previously served as the Club’s Public Image Chair and on the Denver Days Board. She also served as the President of the Lake Norman Young Alumni Chapter for Davidson College. Ellen has been a member of the North Carolina Bar and Lincoln County Bar since 2015 and previously served as Vice President of the Lincoln County Bar.
Ellen is Partner at the Jonas Law Firm PLLC in Denver where she focuses her practice on Estate Planning and Real Estate Transactions. She calls this community home alongside her husband, 2 children, and Great Pyrenees Daisy.

BETHENNY BULLARD
Bethenny believes that strong parent support and representation are key to the success of both Teachers and Students. She has enjoyed volunteering at Lincoln Charter School and feels grateful for the Teachers, Administrators, and Staff who make Lincoln Charter such a special community for her children.
Bethenny holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Psychology from East Carolina University. She is a proud parent of two LCS students and is passionate about ensuring that teachers are supported—because when teachers thrive, students thrive. She also values the importance of diversity, believing that a diverse student body deserves a diverse educational team and board.
Professionally, Bethenny has experience serving clients in finance and now pursues her passion for helping others through real estate. Her career as a Realtor allows her the flexibility to support both her family and the LCS community. She lives in Denver with her family and is particularly passionate about mental health, diversity, and supporting the Teachers and Administrators who influence and inspire students every day.
Bethenny is eager to contribute her time and talents to the LCS Board, working collaboratively with fellow members to continue supporting our Eagles as they soar.
